Moderate to Severe Chronic Pain related to Shingles
Description: We are currently looking for individuals who have a documented diagnosis of Post-Herpetic neuralgia (PHN). PHN manifests in moderate to severe chronic (more than 6 months) pain in patients with a history of shingles (herpes zoster rash) and is located in the area of shingles outbreak. This study is looking to evaluate safety of the medication, as well as its efficacy, whether this medication is able to control shingles-related pain. This study is approximately 78 weeks and will require our patients to come in for regular clinic visits.
Description: We are currently accepting individual for our Rheumatoid Arthritis study. This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability and efficacy of a study medication comparing to placebo and to a biologic Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drug. The efficacy will be determined by looking at the ability of the drug to improve signs and symptoms, as well as prevent progression of structural damage to your joints. You may qualify for this study if you were diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis more than 3 months ago and if you are on a stable dose of Methotrexate for more than 3 months.
DIABETES WITH CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE
Description: We are currently accepting individuals who have type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease into a clinical trial. If your doctor has ever told you that your kidney functions is decreased and you have protein in your urine, you might have diabetic kidney disease – damage to the kidney as a result of type 2 diabetes. You may qualify for our clinical trial. This trial investigates the effectiveness of the study medication in protecting the kidneys from further damage and in preventing heart attacks and strokes.
