Gout Study:  

For this study, we are currently accepting patients who are 50 year of age (men) and 55 years of age (women) that have been diagnosed with gout and meet the following criteria: history of heart and blood vessel disease such as heart attack, chest pain, stroke, blocked arteries and diabetes, in addition to poorly controlled gouty arthritis. This is a Phase 3, double-blind, active-controlled study that compares safety of two known gout medications in subjects with significant cardiovascular health issues.

To register with our database, please complete the form below. Providing us with this information will allow our research team to determine your eligibility for any of our current or future studies. Your information is kept strictly confidential and will only be used to notify you of studies that you have indicated an interest in.

Note that our facility is located in Thornhill, Ontario. Therefore, please only register if you live in the GTA.
  • Examples include but are not limited to: heart attack, chest pain that needed a stay in the hospital, a procedure to open blocked vessels in the heart or that lead to the brain, stroke, a mini stroke that need a stay in the hospital, some peripheral vascular disease, diabetes.
